This periodical is published by the Folger Shakespeare Library and prints out five issues a year.  It contains an annual issue entitled: World Shakespeare Bibliography that can also be accessed online, I have supplied a link to it under the Web Pages.  Students will find this resource to contain very detailed, critical information on Shakespeare's works and life.

This periodical is described as an annual gathering of research, criticism, and reviews.  It was started under the University of Cincinnati.  Students will be able to have access to this crucial publication of Shakespeare materials and criticism.  It is another needed resource for informative documents on Shakespeare's world.

This resource is basically a first stop shop to everything Shakespeare on the web.  Gray describes his site as an "annotated guide to the scholarly Shakespeare resources available on Internet."  The site includes links to primary texts, literary criticism, historical and cultural context, sources, course syllabi and educational materials, online search tools, and "other sites."  Students will find this web resource to contain almost anything and everything they need to know about Shakespeare.  By coming here first, it will save students a lot of time searching and scouring the web for helpful Shakespeare sites.

This site houses so much useful information on Shakespeare and his works.  It contains a link to all of his plays and poems and gives information on them.  The life & times tab contains a biography, information on the Glob theater, history and politics of Elizabethan England, literature that Shakespeare read, and resources to help understand his plays.  Performances of Shakespeare plays are listed and it provides links to a lot of information about all of them.  This website is great for students to use as a resource when reading plays and writing papers.  It will give them great background on Shakespeare's life as well as great interpretations of his works.

The main purpose of this site at first was to house all the important link to information of Shakespeare on the web, now it contains a synopsis of 38 plays, a biography, and critical writing.  The contents page also contains links to information on the Globe Theater, Shakespeare's language, Elizabethan England, Shakespeare's will, theater companies, and a reading list.  This website is useful to each and every student studying Shakespeare. It can provide information on countless subjects related to Shakespeare, theater, and the Elizabethan era.

This website offers content from the print bibliographies formerly published in Shakespeare Quarterly.  It includes not only literary and historical studies, but also film adaptations and stagings by professional companies, including relevant reviews of these productions.  Students can use this site to search for information on specific Shakespeare topics.
